Warranty & Service Terms

Our limited warranty covers defects in supplied parts and workmanship for the repair performed, and functional defects in phones purchased from RepairGeekz, under the terms below.

Coverage starts on the repair completion or phone purchase date shown on your receipt. Your receipt will identify whether your screen is a premium option.

Coverage, exclusions & claims

Coverage applies to the repaired part and workmanship, or a functional defect in a purchased phone. It does not cover unrelated faults, disclosed pre-existing defects, normal wear, cosmetic wear or normal battery ageing.

Physical or liquid damage voids our limited warranty on the affected repair or purchased device. This includes cracks, impact damage, bending, liquid exposure and corrosion. Damage caused by misuse or subsequent modifications or repairs is excluded.

If a fault occurs during the coverage period, contact us with your receipt or purchase details, device model and symptoms. Please arrange an appointment before bringing the device in. We will inspect it and, for an eligible claim, repair or replace the defective covered part or device at no charge, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Backups & data-loss notice

Back up your photos, contacts, files and other important data before service. Repairs, diagnostics, software work and device failures may require a reset or result in erased, lost or corrupted data. RepairGeekz cannot guarantee preservation of data.

If the device is too damaged to back up, tell us before work begins. Ask about a data-transfer assessment. Transfer or recovery may be incomplete or unsuccessful; confirm the scope and any charge with your quote.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, RepairGeekz is not liable for loss, corruption or erasure of data stored on your device. This does not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Quotes, consent & repair timing

We will confirm the proposed work, price and estimated timing before proceeding. Additional work or charges require your approval. Same-day availability depends on the issue, device condition and parts availability; it is not a guarantee.

Please tell us about known liquid damage, prior repairs and existing faults. We will discuss any reset or data-erasing procedure we identify as necessary before carrying it out. Data loss can still occur unexpectedly.

Data access or transfer must be authorized by the device owner. Never send account passwords through the website or a quote message. We will discuss any access needed for testing or transfer at your appointment.

Your consumer rights

These terms describe RepairGeekz’s limited warranty and service policy. They do not limit warranties, remedies or other rights that apply under Manitoba or other applicable consumer protection law. Where required by law, those rights take precedence.
